
Czech sprinter Karolina Manasova
Karolina Manasova is a sprinter from the Czech Republic. She holds the national record for the 60m of 7.05 sec, set at the Atleticka hala on January 26, 2026, as well as national record in 50m of 6.18 sec, set at the Czech Indoor Gala on February 3, 2026. She has participated in several major championships, including the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, where she took part in the 100m.
Born on November 26, 2003, in Novy Jicin, Czech Republic, Karolina Manasova is affiliated with SSK Vitkovice.
In February 2023, she secured her first national title at the Czech Indoor Athletics Championships in the 60m.
In January 2024, Karolina Manasova matched the Czech national record for the 60m at the Jablonec Indoor Meeting, clocking in at 7.23 sec, equaling the time established by Klara Seidlova in 2018. She subsequently set a new Czech record of 7.15 sec in Ostrava in February 2024 and successfully defended her national title in that event.[7][8] In March 2024, she participated in the 2024 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Glasgow, where she recorded a time of 7.27 sec in her qualifying heat but did not advance to the semi-finals.
Karolina Manasova competed at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome, Italy, where she reached the semi-finals. During the Championships, she achieved a personal best of 11.17 sec in the 100m. In June 2024, she became the Czech champion in the same event, finishing with a time of 11.24 sec in the final, and she also set a new record time of 11.21 sec in her heat at the Czech Athletics Championships. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she competed in the 100m, reaching the semi-finals with a personal best of 11.11 sec.
In February 2025, she defended her Czech national indoor title in the 60m, running a time of 7.17 sec in Ostrava. She was a finalist in the 60m at the 2025 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Appeldoorn, Netherlands, where she qualified for the semi-finals with a personal best and national indoor record of 7.14 sec, later improving it to 7.10 sec in the semi-final.
Karolina Manasova won the gold medal in the 100m at the 2025 European Athletics U23 Championships, finishing with a time of 11.30 sec despite a headwind of -1.3 m/s. In September, she participated in the 100m at the 2025 World Championships.
