Eugene Amo-Dadzie ranked fifth in the all-time European rankings in 100m
Eugene Amo-Dadzie has moved up to fifth in the all-time European rankings in the men’s 100m after clocking a remarkable personal best of 9.87 sec (+2.0 m/s) at Leigh Valley, London.
It is also the best European time of the season for the 33-year-old athlete, who will represent Great Britain in the 4x100m relay at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, but not in the individual sprint. The result puts him equal with 1992 Olympic champion Linford Christie in the continent’s all-time rankings.
Earlier this year, Eugene Amo-Dadzie won the men’s 100m for Great Britain at the European Athletics Division 1 Team Championships in Madrid.
Eugene Amo-Dadzie earned a bronze medal in the 60 meters at both the 2023 British Indoor Athletics Championships and the 2023 British Athletics Championships.
