India’s long jump record holder Jeswin Aldrin has made a comeback to the 8-meter-mark. The 24-year-old track and field athlete had been out of action for months due to an ankle ligament injury but now landed 8.03m at a competition in the state of Tamil Nadu. It was a promising comeback after a long absence from the sport for the Indian jumper.
Earlier, in the end of May, Jeswin Aldrin jumper 7.73m at the 29th National Senior Athletics Federation Competition in Ranchi. Before that he last competed in August 2025.
Jeswin Aldrin is 2023 Nur-Sultan Asian Indoor Championships silver medalist and Indian record holder in the long jump with 8.42m. He competed at the 2024 Glasgow World Athletics Indoor Championships, finishing 13th in the final.
