Jessica Hull returns to the track in Monaco, where he set a 2,000m world record
Australian track and field athlete Jessica Hull will return to the Diamond League in Monaco in July, a year after her world record in the 2,000m.
A year after her sensational 2,000m world record at the 2024 Diamond League, the Australian middle distance-running star made an emotional return to Monaco on July 11.
Jessica Hull made track and field history in Monaco last year when she clocked a stunning 5:19.70 min to claim her first Diamond League victory and become the fastest woman in history over the two-kilometre distance.
It was one of six world records set at the 2024 Diamond League, and one of 13 over the past two seasons.
This year, Jessica Hull returns to compete in the 1,000m, where she hopes to attack the Oceania record of 2:32.94 min set by her compatriot Abbey Caldwell at the Diamond League season opener in Xiamen last month.
