American stars Katie Moon and Sandi Morris will face British pole vault star Molly Caudery in the Brussels Diamond League on August 22. Three of the world’s best athletes in the pole vault will meet in the penultimate Diamond League event of the season in Brussels.
The 2021 Olympics champion Katie Moon, 2016 Olympic silver medalist Sandi Morris and current world indoor champion Molly Caudery will compete at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme on August 22.
Katie Moon won the 2023 Diamond League title and is hoping to reclaim the Diamond Trophy after a strong return to form this year. The American star has won in Rabat and Paris and finished second in Doha and London, putting her in good position to qualify for the Diamond League final in Zurich on August 27 and 28.
Her compatriot Sandi Morris currently leads the rankings thanks to victories in Rome and Stockholm in June.
Britain’s Molly Caudery won her first indoor world title in Glasgow last year and will be looking to add the Diamond Trophy to her collection. The 25-year-old started her season with a win in Doha and is also on course to reach the final in Zurich.
American star Melissa Jefferson-Wooden and Tokyo 2021 Olympic 100m champion Lamont Marcell Jacobs will also compete at the Allianz Memorial Van Damme Diamond League in Brussels on August 22.
