Olympic 800m medalists will renew their rivalry at the Eugene Diamond League

Olympic champion Keely Hodgkinson, Olympic silver medalist Tsige Duguma and last year’s Diamond Trophy winner Mary Moraa will compete in the 800m at the Diamond League in Eugene on July 5.

A year after they were on the podium at the Paris 2024 Olympics, the three will renew their rivalry on the track.

British star Keely Hodgkinson has fond memories of Eugene. She won the Diamond Trophy there and in 2024 recorded an impressive victory over Mary Moraa at the same stadium. The Kenyan made up for that loss in the final tournament of the circuit in Brussels last year when she secured the Diamond Trophy.

Tsige Duguma, meanwhile, is hoping to record her first Diamond League victory in Eugene.
