Pia Skrzyszowska will compete at Val de Roy tournament

Munich 2022 European 100m hurdles champion Pia Skrzyszowska has been announced as a participant in the athletics tournament in Val de Roy on February 2nd. The competition is part of the World Indoor Athletics Tour with a “Silver Label”.

Last year, the Polish athlete won bronze medals at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow and the European Championships in Rome in the summer, achieving a personal best of 12.42 sec in the 100m hurdles in the final in the Italian capital.

Pia Skrzyszowska has a time of 7.78 sec indoors, which puts her level on tenth place in the all-time European indoor rankings and is just 0.01 sec off Poland’s long-standing 60m hurdles record, set in 1980.

The winner of European titles in the 60m and 110m hurdles indoor and outdoor events, Pascal Martinot-Lagarde, will also be in line for the tournament in France.
