Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce returns on the track in 2025
Jamaican veteran Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce will return to the track in 2025, the three-time Olympic champion announced on social media. This is expected to be her final year as an active athlete.
The 10-time world champion said she would compete for another year, writing on Instagram that she had “unfinished business”.
“Time will pay tribute to your greatness”, added Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce in her post.
She won back-to-back Olympic 100m titles in 2008 and 2012, and her last Olympics was Paris 2024. Her run ended in disappointment last year in Paris when she missed the 100m semifinals after suffering an injury in her warm-up.
