
Amalie Iuel won 400m hurdles at Kip Keino Classic with a new meeting record
Amalie Iuel (Norway) nearly stumbled in the final meters of the women’s 400m hurdles at the Kip Keino Classic, but recovered to win in 54.80 sec, improving her own meeting record by 0.09 sec and winning the gold. She finished comfortably ahead of Kristiina Halonen of Finland (55.32 sec).
Eileen Demes (Germany) earned the bronze, clocking at 55.38 sec. The Top 5 were completed by Bianca Stubler (USA) and Daniela Ledecka (Slovakia).
In men’s 400m hurdles, Wiseman Were Mukhobe (Kenya) won by improving his own meeting record from last year and clocked at 48.34 sec. The silver went to Kemorena Tisang (Bitswana) with 48.59 sec, while the bronze was for Kipkorir Rotich (Kenya) with 49.17 sec.
The Top 5 were completed by Marthinus Do Preez (South Africa) and Edward Ngunjiri (Kenya).
