Angelina Topic already won all the European junior titles

Angelina Topic reached the gold medal in the final of the European Athletics U23 Championships in Bergen, after being the only one to clear 1.95m. Only she and Swede Engla Nilsson reached this height, who failed to overcome it, while the Serbian did it on her second attempt. Engla Nilsson finished with 1.93m.

Joana Herrmann (Germany) and Styliana Ioannidou (Cyprus) finished 3rd and 4th with 1.91m.

In addition to the Serbian and the Swede, Joana Herrmann (Germany) also climbed the podium with a personal best of 1.91m. Styliana Ioannidou (Cyprus) had the same height cleared, but remained 4th.

Angelina Topic once again demonstrated exceptional stability and mental resilience, not leaving many chances for her competitors. This victory is another great success in her career after a number of medals from international competitions in youth categories and among women. The Serbian already owns all possible European titles among juniors, after being the European champion under 18, under 20 and under 23.
