
Audrey Werro won the women’s 800m at the Swiss Championships 2026
Audrey Werro won the women’s 800m at the Swiss Championships in Zurich with a powerful performance. The 2025 Diamond League winner and 2026 World Indoor silver medalist clocked 1:57.21 min to triumph in the event. She dominated her race with a commanding solo victory, confirming her elite form ahead of the European Championships.
The second in the event remained Valentina Rosamilia on 1.53 sec behind the winner. The bronze was for Veronica Vancardo, who clocked 1:59.11 min.
Joceline Wind won the gold in women’s 1,500m, clocking 4:07.83 min for a PB. Delia Sclabas finished second with 4:09.91 min, while Lilly Nageli was third, far behind the leaders with 4:13.58 min.
“Had so much fun lining up in my first 800m of the year in front of the best crowd on the track I’ve called home for two years now. Proud to say I went for it, got the Win and lowered my PB by half a second to 2:00.41 the pieces are coming together step by step”, wrote Joceline Wind in her social media profile after the victory.
Fabienne Muller won the women’s 5,000m with 16:43.20 min, followed by Romane Wolhauser and Malin Rahm.
