Bozhidar Saraboyukov won the Balkan title in the long jump with 8.12m

Bozhidar Saraboyukov won the Balkan title in the long jump at the indoor championships in Belgrade. The Bulgarian athlete reached the gold with 8.12m, thus crossing the 8-meter mark in his fourth competition of the season. The 20-year-old talent grabbed the gold medal on his second attempt, when he landed on this result.

The silver in the long jump was earned by the Ukrainian Danylo Dubyna with 7.92m, and Andreas Trajkovski (North Macedonia) came third with 7.63m.

The Top 5 was completed by Nikita Masliuk (Ukraine) and Vasilios Martinakis (Greece) with 7.61m and 7.42m, respectively.

In the women’s long jump Milica Gardasevic (Serbia) triumphed with the gold, recording 6.47m. The silver went to Filippa Fotopoulou (Cyprus) finished second with 6.42m, while the bronze was for Diana Myroshnichenko (Ukraine) with 6.34m. Out of the Top 5 in women’s long jump were Maja Bedrac (Slovenia) and Vasiliki Chaitidou (Greece) with 6.29m and 6.08m, respectively.
