
Daryll Neita joined Noah Lyles’ training group
British sprinter Daryll Neita, who finished fourth in the 100m at the Paris 2024 Olympics, has moved to Florida to join Lance Brauman’s training group.
The group in Claremont, Florida, also includes Olympic 100m champion Noah Lyles, who is also world 200m champion. Brauman’s training group also includes Olympic and world 400m gold medalist Shaunae Miller-Uibo.
Daryll Neita came fifth in the 200m in Paris. She had previously trained with Italian coach Marco Airale in Padua.
Daryll Neita’s teammate Jeremiah Azu has moved to Cardiff in South Wales to work with his old coach Helen James. British sprinters Reece Prescod, Adam Gemili and Amarachi “Ama” Pipi have also left Italy, although Amy Hunt remained there.
The 28-year-old Daryll Neita is a silver medalist in the 200m at the 2024 European Championships. The London-born sprinter boasts a personal best in the 100m of 10.90 sec, set in 2022 in Birmingham. In the 60m, she has a best of 7.05 sec from 2023.
