Julien Alfred confirms participation in the Diamond Leagues in Oslo and Stockholm

Olympic 100m champion from Paris 2024 and world indoor 60m gold medalist from Glasgow 2024 Julien Alfred has had a memorable year on the track, but she will be looking to add to her tally in 2025. The sprinter from Saint Lucia has already confirmed her participation in the Diamond League tournaments in Oslo and Stockholm in June.

The competition in Norway is on June 12 and the one in Sweden on June 15.

“Visiting the Scandinavian countries is one of my dreams. I am looking forward to feeling the hospitality of the Scandinavian spectators and I hope to live up to the standard of these two tournaments and give them a memorable performance”, said Julien Alfred.

She also said that these competitions will be of key importance for her before the World Championships in Tokyo in September.

The upcoming Diamond League season is very important because we won’t have any World Cup qualifiers. So I hope these competitions will bring me closer to my goals for Japan”, added Julien Alfred.
