
Kurtis Marschall continue his winning streak and triumphed in men’s pole vault at Oslo Bislett Games
Just days after ending Armand Duplantis’ 40-game winning streak at the Diamond League in Stockholm, Kurtis Marschall continued his winning streak. The Australian pole vaulter also won the Diamond League in Oslo last night with a jump of 5.82m.
Apeldoorn 2025 European Indoor Champion and home team hopeful Sondre Guttormsen finished second with 5.72m, with two-time world champion Sam Kendricks (USA) in third with the same result.
The second in the all-time ranking of the discipline, Emmanouil Karalis (Greece), did not choose the best tactic and in the end had to settle for sixth place with 5.62m, among which he made three faults at his next height of 5.82m.
In the men’s triple jump, the victory was won by this winter’s indoor world silver medalist Jordan Scott (Jamaica) with 17.66m (+2.6 m/sec).
The two-time indoor world champion and Olympic bronze medalist Andy Díaz Hernandez (Italy) remained second today with 17.59m (0.0 m/sec), and the Algerian Yasser Mohamed Tahar Triki fought for third place with 17.43m (+2.4 m/sec).
The new world record holder in the javelin for girls and second in the all-time ranking for women, Ziyi Yan, achieved another convincing success with 67.11m.
