
Loice Chemnung prepares for a new record at the Malaga Half Marathon
After setting a course record at the Malaga Half Marathon last week, Loice Chemnung is preparing for an even stronger result next year.
Loice Chemnung clocked 1:05:46 for her victory on Sunday, bettering her previous course record of 1:05:58 hours from last year’s triumph.
“I feel good about the win. I will come back here next year to improve my result. I thank the organizers for inviting me to participate. I am so happy to have achieved a new personal best here. I am enjoying running here. This is the race where I made my half marathon debut”, said Loice Chemnung.
In 2024, Loice Chemnung won the gold at the Tokyo Legacy Half Marathon, as well as the 10km silver at the Marathon de Paris – 5 et 10KM Asics Speed Paris, but her biggest achievement was winning the 10km gold at the 10KM Port Gentil.
