American athlete Melissa Jefferson-Wooden is the queen of the sprints after winning the 100m gold at the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo. The American track and field athlete won her first world title, clocking a personal best of 10.61 sec.

The Paris 2024 Olympics bronze medalist Melissa Jefferson-Wooden overtook Tina Clayton (Jamaica), who clocked at 10.76 sec.

The Paris 2024 Olympics champion Julien Alfred of Saint Lucia finished in 10.84 sec and earned the bronze.

The Top 5 were completed by the Tokyo 2020 Olympics bronze medalist Shericka Jackson and the 2023 world champion Sha’Carri Richardson, clocking 10.88 sec and 10.94 sec.

The sprints legend and two-time Olympics and five time World champion in the event, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, finished 6th with 11.03 sec.

Melissa Jefferson-Wooden is Olympics champion and two-time world champion in 4x100m relay. She is one of the most talented American athletes.
