Nadia Battocletti chases another European title at the European Road Championships in Belgium

Olympic 10,000m silver medalist Nadia Battocletti (Italy) has confirmed she will be chasing another European title on a different surface within ten months.

She won gold medals in the 5,000m and 10,000m at the European Athletics Championships in Rome last June and added European cross-country gold in Antalya in December.

The Italian will now try to triumph at the European Road Championships in Belgium on April 13 and 14, where she will attack the 10km title.

Just two days ago, Nadia Battocletti won her fifth national title at the Cassino Italian Cross Country Championships. At the Paris 2024 Olympics, she won a silver medal in the 10,000m and placed fourth in the 5,000m race. As of July 2024, at the age of 24, she has won 11 national titles at the senior level.
