Qatar athletes acclimatize for the World Athletics Champions at a training camp in Narita
The Qatar Athletics Federation is organizing a training camp in Narita, Japan, to help the national team acclimatize before the World Championships in Tokyo in September.
The camp is attended by some of the athletes and coaching staff, with more expected to join them once they meet the qualification standards.
The federation is aiming to ensure maximum representation at the event and continue Qatar’s success on the world stage.
The participation of leading names such as Abderrahman Samba, Ammar Ibrahim, and Bassem Hemeida has already been confirmed. More athletes are competing for quotas by participating in World Athletics-sanctioned events in Europe.
The World Championships will be held in Tokyo from September 13 to 21, 2025 and will bring together over 2,000 athletes from around 200 countries around the world.
