Rhasidat Adeleke won the women’s 200m, while Benjamin Richardson triumphed in men’s 100m and 200m at the Irish Championships

The European U18 and U20 champion Rhasidat Adeleke won the women’s 200m national title at the Irish Athletics Championships in Dublin. The Irish sprinter, who is also the national record holder in the event, triumphed with 22.80 sec.

The silver in women’s 200m went to Lauren Roy, who clocked 23.49 sec, while the bronze was for Lorena Harrison with 24.61 sec.

In women’s 100m event, the defending champion Ciara Neville won the women’s national title. She triumphed for her third national outdoor title, clocking 11.44 sec. Mollie O’Reilly finished second with 11.63 sec, while Molly Scott remained with the bronze in the event with 11.67 sec.

Rachel McCann won the women’s 400m gold at the Irish Athletics Championships 2026 in Dublin. She clocked 52.93 sec, ahead of Sophie Becker with 53.23 sec and Michelle Duggan, who finished in 53.72 sec.

Benjamin Richardson triumphed in men’s 100m and 200m events, clocking 10.13 sec and 20.64 sec, respectively. The runner-up in men’s 100m remained Toluwabori Akinola with 10.21 sec and third was Sean Aigboboh, who clocked 10.26 sec.

In men’s 200m, behind Benjamin Richardson finished Sean Aigboboh and Ryan Mulholland.

Jack Raftery won men’s 400m event, clocking 46.12 sec. Second remained Andrew Egan with 46.16 sec and third was Sean Doggett with 46.89 sec.
