The three shot put medalists from Paris 2024 Olympics, Ryan Crouser, Joe Kovacs and Rajindra Campbell, will compete at the Eugene Diamond League on July 5.
World record holder Ryan Crouser won Olympic gold in Paris with 22.90m, while Joe Kovacs and Rajindra Campbell each threw 22.15m.
Joe Kovacs defeated Ryan Crouser in the 2023 Diamond League Final in Eugene to top the world rankings for the season with 23.13m. However, both were defeated by Italy’s Leonardo Fabbri in the Diamond Final in Brussels last year, when he won the trophy.
Ryan Crouser has one Diamond trophy in 2021, while Joe Kovacs is a three-time winner of the prestigious circuit.
Jamaican star Rajindra Campbell has yet to win a Diamond, but hopes that will change in Eugene.
