
Valarie Allman recorded another Diamond League’s victory in Paris
Two-time Olympic discus throw champion Valarie Allman (USA) recorded another Diamond League’s victory of the season. The American athlete won the tournament at the Charletti Stadium in Paris with 67.56m. However, she achieved her best result only in her last sixth attempt, before which she was in second place.
The European discus and shot put silver medalist from Rome 2024, Jorinde van Klinken (Netherlands), took second place in Paris after finishing with a best result of 66.42m. Cuba’s athlete Yaime Perez came in third with 65.03m.
The two-time Olympic and world champion and a record seven-time European champion Sandra Elkasevic (Croatia) remained fourth with 63.52m, missing the podium. The Paris 2024 Olympics silver medalist Bin Feng completed the Top 5 with 62.80m.
Valarie Allman already won the gold in Rome, Keqiao and Xiamen Diamond League tournaments. She is still unbeaten this season, triumphing at the Oklahoma Throws Series World Invitational, Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays, USATF Throws Festival, and Goldenes Oval 2025.
At the Oklahoma Throws Series World Invitational, Valarie Allman set a new Americas and National record, as well as personal best of 73.52m, which is the top achievement for the season in the event.
