
Bozhidar Saraboyukov ended the 2026 season as world’s number three in the long jump
Bozhidar Saraboyukov had an extremely successful competitive year, finishing as No. 3 in the world. He has collected an asset of 1357 points. Number one in the long jump ranking is Miltiadis Tentoglou with 1402 points, and second is Jamaican Tajay Gayle with 1364 points. Mattia Furlani is fourth with 1352 points, and Simon Ehammer is fifth with 1339 points.
In 2026, Bozhidar Saraboyukov won a bronze medal in the long jump indoors in Torun, and in the summer he also won bronze at the European Outdoor Championships in Birmingham. He also corrected the Bulgarian national record several times, landing at 8.49m in Plovdiv in his strongest performance.
Bozhidar Saraboyukov also participated in all Diamond League tournaments in 2026, and in the final of the circuit he came fourth.
In his last major event of the year, Bozhidar Saraboyukov finished second at the Ultimate World Championship in Budapest, just 1 centimeter behind Miltiadis Tentoglou.
