Guatemalan runner Sylvanna Toledo

Sylvanna Toledo is Guatemalan athlete, who competes in long-distance running and marathon. She is the winner of the women’s REVEL Mt Hood Marathon and Chicagoland Spring Marathon in 2018, as well as bronze medalist at the women’s REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon in 2019.

Sylvanna Toledo was born on February 12, 1982, in Guatemala. She started in athletics at an early age and showed her great skills and talent in running.

Sylvanna Toledo started her competitive career in 2015, taking part at the TCS New York City Marathon, finishing on 496th position with a time of 3:27:22 hours. On the next season she already improved significantly her result at the Chicago Marathon to finish 108th, clocking at 3:02:52 hours.

In 2017, Sylvanna Toledo took part at the Boston Marathon, but again finished with disappointing position with time of 3:14:31 hours.

Sylvanna Toledo had her most successful season in 2018. In April she finished 49th in women’s Rotterdam Marathon, while in May she was the big winner at the women’s Chicagoland Spring Marathon, clocking at 3:04:06 hours. Next month, she won the women’s REVEL Mt Hood Marathon with time of 3:00:13 hours, while at the end of the season ran also at the California International Marathon, but finished only 416th.

In 2019, Sylvanna Toledo made another great performance at the REVEL Mt Charleston Marathon, finishing third in women’s competition, clocking a personal best of 2:55:17 hours.

Sylvanna Toledo missed the next two season and returned in running only in 2021, at the S7 MARATHON | your final call to Tokyo, but clocked only 3:03:23 hours.

In 2022, she made another great performance at the prestigious Chevron Houston Marathon to finishing 59th in women’s race with time of 2:56:03 hours. The same season she also competed at the NACAC Half Marathon Championships in San Jose, Costa Rica, finishing 8th with time 1:30:37 hours.

In 2023, Sylvanna Toledo competed at the Generali Geneve Marathon finished 7th in women’s race, but won the F40 category, clocking 3:07:55 hours.

Sylvanna Toledo took part in three marathons in 2024, competing at the Copenhagen Marathon, Berlin Marathon, and 44th Trinidad Alfonso Valencia Marathon, but without entering the Top 100. However, at the Las Vegas Half Marathon she won the silver, clocking at 1:23:23 hours.
