
Team USA won the men’s and women’s 4x400m relays world indoor titles in Nanjing
The United States won the men’s and women’s 4x400m relays world titles at the 2025 World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing, China.
The men’s relay team of Elija Godwin, Brian Faust, Jacory Patterson and Christopher Bailey won the gold medal in 3:03.13 min.
The Jamaican team, consisting of Rusheen McDonald—who secured the bronze medal in the 400m at the 2024 World Indoor Championships but faced challenges in the individual event this time—along with Jasauna Dennis, Kimar Farquharson, and Demar Francis, came very close to achieving victory, winning the silver in 3:05.05 min, while Hungary of Patrik Simon Enyingi, Zoltan Wahl, Arpad Kovacs, and Attila Molnar, won bronze in a new national record of 3:06.03 min.
The women’s Team USA of Quanera Hayes, Bailey Lear, Rosey Effiong and Alexis Holmes won the title in 3:27.45 min. The Polish team finished second in 3:32.05 min and the Australian team came in third in 3:32.65 min.
